Along with some older Russian Silver items and large goblets, I found these large Japanese (I think) Srving spoons. They are quite heavy and measure almost 9" long. One spoons has round elliptical designs on the front with dozens of other oriental designs like bats, flowers, butterflies etc.. The other has birds, bats, pagodas and the same fan design on top as the other. The backs on both are incised with designs related to the "blue Willow" designs seen on pottery with a bridge, a pagoda, a lake etc.. The spoon part is ribbed with a tree branch design on both spoons. I see a mark on the lower sections near the spoon but I don't recognize the symbols. Are they old? Any help appreciated. RER

In picture #3 the spoon on the right appears to be the only one with a mark. The picture doesn't enlarge well but it looks like a square with the number 11 inside it. If that is correct then it isn't silver, it is silver plate.

Thanks fhrjr2! What you see is actually the window in the pagoda and not an 11. The pagoda has two sections one on top of the other. The possible mark is in photo #4, section above the pagoda.
