These are two other globes that I found as well. It's amazing to think that the expert at the Iowa Gas Swap Meet put these at $1,200-1,500 where he put the other ones at $2,500-$3,500. Why is that? I would think the entire globes to be more valuable than one lens. But I know color and content are key as well. I just can't believe these lasted on a farm for all this time and never were broken!
Sorry to everyone on here regarding my other post where I was discussing sale. I'm new to this site and didn't know that was not allowed. As "Pop_abides" posted "I don't believe we let you work this into a SALE right in front of us....You are one of those people who decide to write "there" (s/b their) own rules. KARMA works!" Uh, no Pop-abides, as you can tell I was just looking for information an someone else asked me for contact information. You should also be able to tell I'm a newbie here. I should have read the rules of being on here and I do apologize for not doing that.

I would post my comments here, but there are certain individuals that search this site just to bash others, and frankly I don't have the time for games.
Thank you!

Agreed!
OK, glad to see that I'm not alone in my point of view on the removal of the picture of my other lenses. Should just remove the comment that was "out of line". Oh well, live and learn. Thanks oilman514 for your help and chat soon MMM.
Sorry about the tirade but for the future please kindly read the "BASICS" at the bottom of this page ... By the way I like your stuff...........
I understand Pop_abides, as a long-time person on here, I'm sure you've seen your share of abuse here. I did read the basics, but didn't say anything about it. Maybe I read the collecting basics instead of "posting" basics. Thanks, I find a lot of this interesting and am learning a lot about all the collectibles. We just found a glass white eagle that appears to be a globe as well. I do have a question on this, what if there are two small chips out of the base of this eagle? Does this hurt the value much? I do have the two pieces that are not attached so they can be re-attached, but I think I'll let the eventual buyer do that since I'd probably use the wrong glue or something. Should be able to post more on Sunday after more digging. I just find all of this fascinating and so interesting. Hopefully, the rest of the other stuff I have to do research on is as interesting.
wow that globe cleaned up nicely! What a find!
