    A Japanese lacquer wood box, the surface was done in a roughly woven textile and then gold lacquered with a pewter cut design. The four corners of the box are reinforced also with pewter, the rear hinges are pewter with heart shaped cutouts. The bottom is done in black lacquer also over cloth.
