At first I thought this was a combination of two lamps. I now think it is a single lamp. The flower patterns on the top bowl match the ones on the lower section. After running a fingernail across the flowers I could feel the brush strokes of the painter. I believe it to be hand painted. The teal transition from the lower section to the upper bowl I thought was painted metal but it is glass and is part of the lower piece of glass. The base metal is tinted green but it does not show well in the pictures. There are three raised fleur de lis in a triangle pattern on two opposing sides of the lamp. The wick adjustment knob has a patent date of 1897 and hope someone will recognize the medallion on the oil fill cap. The lamp has been converted to electric. I borrowed a ball shade from another lamp just to see how it would look. The lamp is 29 1/2" Tall and 8" at it's widest. Any info on the lamp would be appreciated.
