Medium wood color/stain, shelf or mantel (some misspell it mantle) electric Seth Thomas clock, not working.
How do I find out its value? Age, production date, pertinent details? Design and style looks 1960-70 to me, especially the face, numbers and lighter wood (medium color) than older, darker similarly shaped models.

Hello Tshane3000. Welcome to Collectors Weekly!
You have a Seth Thomas model called the "Dynaire E" from circa 1954. It was also offered with an eight-day, 4-jewel windup movement. That model was called the "Dynaire W". Seth Thomas described it as "symbolizes the latest in modern styling. Perfect atop a TV set, bookcase of desk. Brown mahogany or blond finish on hardwood. Silverplated dial." It original retailed for $19.95 (about $190 in 2019 dollars). As far as current market value is concerned, eBay shows them as selling for about $20 give or take $5. See this link: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=seth+thomas+dynaire+clock&_sop=16&_sadis=15&_dmd=1&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&_osacat=0&_ipg=200&_stpos=17331-2501&_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=seth+thomas+dynaire+electric+clock&_sacat=0
Hope that solves your mystery. If so, please indicate "Mystery Solved" in your listing. There should be a checkbox.
Thanks for sharing your Seth Thomas with us.

One other thing I forgot to mention, the little red circle above the six was to indicate if there had been a power outage. I believe that red indicated that there had been a power loss since the clock was last set. Pretty neat looking design. Kind of like a "Tambour" Mantel Clock in my opinion.
