Hello everyone,
In addition to vintage doorstops, I also have a few reproduction doorstops. This one is reproduction of a "Boston Terrier with Paws Up" that was originally launched in 1931 and invented by W. Lauderbach. It's a fairly decent reproduction and very well cast, I must say. He measures 9" tall. The original was a two piece design held together with a single screw and measures 9 1/2" tall. This one, I believe, is also a two piece design with the two halves welded, however I cannot find any seams on him. He weighs nearly 6 lbs. This one was originally painted black and white, but I decided to give him a new paint job, similar to the original design. Not the greatest by no means, but better than the black and white colors.
Thanks for stopping in for a look!!!!

He's super cute, love the pose and great paint job Scott!
Thanks so very much Jenni!!! I think he's pretty cute as well.
Yep Thomas, he does appear that way. But, he spends most of his time with those paws against a door:)
Thanks so much everyone for the loves, comments and for stopping by!!
