      You could upload a photo of the signature to begin with. The style is 'late empire', but the chair could have been made anytime from that on.

      A good many of this type chair were made in Gardner, Mass. which is known as the chair city of the world. As early as the 1920's they were producing over 4 million chairs a year. There were over 20 companies there turning out chairs and many are still in business today. I know this design was used right up through the 1950's on the crest boards with several variations. Researching the exact manufacturer and era will present a huge challenge.
