Beautiful very early cameo with a C clasp . Carved shell ? Love it

Helmet shell cameo, cut in Italy, set elsewhere, probably 1890 - 1910. The lady is neither mythological nor Biblical, so either taken from other literary source or a work of imagination. I'm inclined to the latter, an unusual variant on the 'woman in a country scene' type of cameo, based on the inclusion of a fence in the picture. Have never seen any two of these that are exactly alike, they just share a 'vocabulary' of elements. Afraid I cannot give her a name.

The reflections in the photo of the back make it impossible to see: is there an acid etched signature?

When not hidden by the reflection of the potted plant, is there anything on the back?
