    Looking for any info on these trunks

    1. Leather topped trunk emblem of eagle with shield and 13 stars above eagle. Is this a federal emblem?
    2. Beautiful hardware. Smaller rectangular trunk wood with fabric

      1st one, I have had this marking on leather covered trunks, don't think it's a Federal mark, but not 100% sure, 2nd one is a steamer trunk, steamer trunks were a specific size and shape, usually in the 34 to 38 inch long and not much more than 14 inches high, people tend to call all trunks steamer trunks but this one is a true steamer trunk, the 3rd one looks to be an early zinc covered trunk 1860's to 1870's check it with a magnet if it wont stick it's pure zinc metal, if it sticks it could be zinc clad, has the right color for zinc, last one looks like the bottom box of a Romadka Brothers trunk because of the one rear hinge.
