This smaller map is 12" X 10" and shows Beach Green for the landings for the Anzio Invasion.
It is marked as "Secret Shingle" and is dated 10 JAN 1944. It shows the Defensive Information as well as the sand bar locations. The sand bars were probably of particular concern to the LCI-220 crew, since she had run aground during the Sicily Invasion and spent two days under intense enemy aircraft attack.
From what I have read "Green Beach" was used by the 3rd Infantry Division. I have not found a reference to LCI- 220 transporting 3rd Division troops (yet), but since this was in a large grouping of LCI- 220 items; I think it is just a matter of research.
Interestingly, the back of this map has an older map for the Sicily Invasion and is marked "Void Use other Side"

Thanks Kevin. Take a look at my other items posted from LCI- 220. I have a Southern France, Operation Dragon beach map and a huge pennant made by crew members.
