I love bold colors everywhere, as I suppose that is obvious here!
My porch column is a wooden skewer strung with wooden beads.
I came across the child in the chair at a thrift store (where else?!) and knew she would be right at home here.
The flowers in the windowsill are real. Straw flower’s buds actually open feeling like dry straw and keep their bold bright colors indefinitely, no water needed.
I grow them from seeds every now and then just for the novelty of them!

The living room rug and valances are made from a man’s silk necktie (from GW).

The globe on the short cabinet top was originally on a wine bottle stopper.

The sea shells were collected on various beaches I have wandered along in years past.
I have jars of the big perfect shells that get all the attention while the tiny but still perfect ones wind up filtering to the bottom of the jars.
When I bought this cabinet, I knew I had the perfect place to feature the tiny shells in all their glory!

The umbrella stand is made from a miniature oil lamp chimney (the rest of the oil lamp was missing).

The umbrella is one of those you find in mixed drinks when you go to the beach.

The door just called out for some blingy hardware to beckon visitors in!

I deliberately omitted the front steps and the interior stairs because the would have taken up too much space.
The dollhouse itself sits on a turntable, plus the tabletop holding the dollhouse, it’s out buildings and gardens is also a turntable (so turntables on turntable).
