My Victorian Painted Lady Dollhouse bedroom

I made the bed and bed linens, peg clothes hanging bracket, rug, bathrobe from scraps of fabric, wood and wooden beads.

I painted designs to turn unfinished boxes into hat boxes.

The framed “modern art” piece over the bed was an orphaned earring originally.

The chest and dresser came from the dollar store but I fancied them up a bit with paint.

I created the orange hat from a piece of my grandson’s old PlaDoh extruder.
The black undies were bought online but the gold bra is actually a little brooch from GW.
I made the bathrobe from terry cloth and ribbon.

The dresser with the light was a wonderful find on eBay- when you lift the jewelry box lid, the lamp turns on and music plays. After 1 minute, it turns it’s self off.
I knew I wanted music in the house, so this was a perfect find.

The bedroom’s French doors open to the balcony.
