My Victorian Painted Lady baby’s room

I loved putting this room together!
My son’s baby bed really did have a canopy so finding this tiny one was perfect to bring some semblance of our lives to the dollhouse.

The mural on the wall was a greeting card whose message was just perfect!

The elephant lamp was perfect for lighting that far corner.

Over the bed, on the wall, there is an angel hovering. I found it while digging in a flower bed. It had one been a Lennox brooch but had lost it’s clasp. Probably fell off some lady’s dress.

When I found the “mother”, she had exactly the pose needed for her to sit on the settee. Her hairstyle I liked. Her gown is a bit to revealing and her facial expression is a bit aloof and distant as she attends her son, in my opinion.
So, at some point, I would like to touch up her face and see if I can give her a more motherly expression.....her expression right now looks like she would rather be elsewhere!
