I deliberately omitted stairs because I needed all the space for furniture.

Both bathroom alcoves and the dressing table have working lights.

I made all the rugs including the fringed cross stitched one.
The perfume bottles are made from beads.

Thanks for looking. Hope you enjoy!

Next post will be the outdoor spaces. :-)

Keramikos, I’m am a very patient person but it’s hard to explain....instead of patience, it seemed more like excitement.
You know, the thrill of the hunt when you are looking for just “something” but you won’t know exactly what till you see it?
My mom’s caregiver was also working on her own dollhouse during this time so we were continually chatting, laughing, sharing scraps of pretty papers or cloth, bidding and winning eBay auctions, ogling tiny items arriving in the mail....and all the while, drawing my elderly mom into it all!

The support of all the fine folks of CW is gratifying!

Quite the amazing rug in picture 4, looking so realistic. I used to work years ago with a woman who collected doll houses, and lost track of her when she left work for another job and I never saw her collection. Love that you used lights in some of yours, and I love those model lights, fascinating !~

      Thank you, PhilDMorris!
I’m flattered by your comment....I made all the rugs except the bright green zebra pattern one in the bathroom alcove.
If I should make another dollhouse, I’ll wire it as I build it rather than as an afterthought....it will be much less work.
