Hi everybody.
Can anyone tell me about these dolls please.
A lady gave these porcelain dolls to my mother 35 yrs ago and I know nothing about them. Looking to sell.

These are reproduction of antique dolls . Made in a doll making class or ceramic studio. You would buy the blank and paint doll . They sold arms, hands legs and bodies or a pattern to sew one . The white doll appears to be a repro of "Dream Baby" by Armand Marseille . I can't make out black doll but her eyes are appear larger than white doll so it is a different
mold . There should also be other markings on back of their heads that came from original doll they were copied from .
They were painted and fired porcelain dolls in 1983 and 84 when it was very popular to make your own doll because antique ones were selling very high . That is not case anymore the antique dolls like this are very affordable do to internet and making them so easy to find now . What a beautiful present they are :-) Someone worked hard on them at one time .
