Hello everyone!!
I recently posted a reproduction of a cast iron Boston Terrier With Paws Up doorstop. Here's an original of that particular doorstop. As you can see, the original is a two piece design held together with a screw and he's hollow. This one had been painted black and white. Since the original paint no longer existed, I decided to give hit my own personalization. But, I'm still happy to have him in my collection. This one was patented on January 13, 1931 by W. Lauderbach. It's design #83,051. The word "PATENT" and the design # are both embossed on the insides of his feet. He measures 9 1/2" tall.
