I'm trying to find information about this rocking chair that I received as present a few years back. I was told it is from 1830-1860. Can anyone help with any info?

It's absolutely gorgeous! I can't believe what great condition it's in. Even the seat fabric/upholstery is so perfectly faded. AND it's not 'lumpy'! Who ever had this before, took excellent care of it. This is a piece you would definitely want to keep in it's original condition. I would not doubt the year either. Can you put a towel or blanket down and gently lay the chair down so you could take a pic of the bottom. That would help with I.D. It's a very well made piece!
