Michael Schwegmann Ceramic Collection

I have been collecting Michael Schwegmann's ceramic works for ten years. He ran a studio called Boneyard Pottery in Champaign, Illinois until it closed a few years ago and moved his business to Bement, Illinois. Several years ago, he stopped doing vases and bowls and began to create more industrial ceramic art (like replicating paint cans or revolvers out of ceramic). I did have several more pieces, but, unfortunately, my new kitten at the time broke them. But I just love his use of glazes and I'm happy that I acquired so many through the years to decorate my home and to cherish. He would often come to art festivals in Chicago, and I introduced many friends to his works.
