SEE THE NOTE WITH THE JEWELRY DATED -"GRADUATION GIFT 1921"
This is another box of stored antique stuff that the rats and silverfish got into but I was able to salvage some of the item.
I was assigned to clean out a house that was sold and still full of stuff.
Some purses, clothes, gloves and jewelry were totally destroyed but this is a few items that I kept.
Do you know if anything has any real value like the jewelry or purses?

I think that you have some nice things there TreasureTex, the silk beaded Purse, Leather Purse, and the little Black embroidered Coin Purse, are in very good condition, and collectible, but the Green one could be salvaged for the top frame and clasp, for use on another Purse. It's hard to tell about the Jewelry, and Watch, but the group of everything, could be used in a Shadow Box! :^D Thanks for showing, to me it's always interesting, being able to go through other people's old stuff! :^)
Thank you billretirecoll. I agree with you on the idea of a shadow box and your other thoughts. That beaded one did see better days. The tiny one is actually a German made manicure set. I opened it this evening to see if any money was left inside.
Oh wow. I've cleaned out many homes for a friend of mine. I got super rewarded for it too and only one out of all the homes, was infested. Just one. It was so bad in fact that I wore gloves and a mask the whole time and was totally jumpy while in there! It's such a sad state thinking someone ended up living like that. I was able to salvage some Fenton glass, a few Gillette TTO Razors and honestly not much else. The rats had even eaten holes in the ceiling and walls. Even with all that damage, the home sold for $350K!!! I'm sure they demoed it.
Your items are indeed valuable! You can probably hand wash the gloves. Use baking soda and a vinegar rinse, then rinse well and wash again.
