      Thanks for the wonderful feedback. I've added a 3rd pic with the missing slat and hardware back on and painted. The turquoise color was too flat for my liking but I didn't want it glossy. I love glitter and will never pass up a chance to use it, so I mixed some glitter in a matching color with some Elmer's glue and a bit of water and covered the turquoise with it.
