My great grandfather Fritz Julius Petersen (1869-1911), who was in the fertilizer business, received this 19.5 cm high brass and glass tankard newyear 1896 from one of his German business associates. The text on the lid reads: "F. Norlander s. l. F. Petersen z. fr. Erg. 1896 Neujahr". Does anyone know who this F. Norlander was ?

z.fr.Erg. could mean (zum freudigen Ergebnis)
for the good results! Which could refer to the good business year 1896 and given to Norlander and Petersen in New Year?

Thanks for the comment Radegunder. I believe you're right. Tell me when you've identified F. Norlander s. l. !
