I picked this up at that old house we are cleaning out. It was in the back of a closet with a few other vintage framed items but it looked the oldest. I think that I remember seeing a print like this before and reading a blog debating on what time period and where the ladies might have dressed like this and where it is located. The last time I saw some ladies dressed like this was in a funny movie named, "Year One".
The frame is sure neat looking and the picture is pleasing to look at.
Any help would be appreciated. It's not signed and inside frame/print measures 9" x 18".
UPDATE...... "Maxfield Parrish. The print is titled "Garden of Allah."
Mayfield Parrish. Garden of Allah, I think.
Maxfield Parrish. The print is titled "Garden of Allah" (as Kevin said above) originally created in 1918. Parrish prints were tremendously popular in the 1920s.
Thank you so much for the information. I will update the title so it can be found if someone else needs to identify one. Ya'll are so nice to share your knowledge.
