    Brown and tan rough on outside , glazed on inside. Brush strokes wavy on outside. Can't read the signature Hain or plain? Estate sale was throwing item away!

      You might want to research the Pima and or Maricopa tribes pottery. They are in Arizona where the red clay is common. They made what is called an Olla in all different sizes. Olla is a word that translates roughly water jug.
