      Something is wrong here.

There should not be knots, loose ends of thread, thread going between butterfly antenna, thread going between stems of flowers! The butterfly wings are a jumble of stitches. That is the kind of thing that is hidden on the BACK side of a piece of needle work.
There should be no wrinkles in the fabric; this fabric has many wrinkles/puckers in it which shows it has not been properly stretched and secured to a backing board prior to matting/framing.

It looks as if it is framed with the wrong side facing outward.

Possibly someone removed the embroidery piece from the frame then mistakenly put it back wrong. Or maybe had a piece of embroidery and a frame so put them together— at any rate, you need to look closely at both sides of this needlework and see if it is turned backwards.

I agree, this looks like a rush job, and probably framed by the same people who made the silk embroidery framed art work for export. Probably Asian, now we would love to see the other side.

Taysart, much better with the correct side showing! It’s really lovely now.
