I am wondering if anyone can tell me if this is some sort of Eastlake piece or perhaps later? It has ebonized details, small shelves on each side of the mirror. It has a unique marble backsplash trimmed by wood. Also the arched floral bonnet at the top is something I haven't seen before.

      Victorian wash stand maybe.

Thanks MeliGee, yes, I think it is a fancy washstand, but I was wondering what style or period. It's not quite Eastlake or Renaissance Revival. I haven't seen anything quite like it, was hoping someone could tell me what style or period it is.
