This is a necklace purchased online not long ago.
Lenox is known for beautiful table ware and decorative items. Lesser known, I believe, are their jewelry items. I’ve owned a pretty glazed ceramic pendant and a bisque brooch made by them.

I liked the look of this necklace with the leaf designs which the enclosed card says are gold plated. The card refers to the beads as “turquoise colored beads” but doesn’t say what they are made of.

When I couldn’t find info about the necklace online, I researched the VP whose name is on the card. The lady is still VP with the company so the necklace isn’t very old.

I wanted to see other pictures of this necklace to find out if this was the original intended design or if a previous owner, for some reason, removed some beads from both ends. It looks kind of odd having that exposed wire on the necklace.

I’ve only worn it once because where the wire rested on my skin, I broke out in an itchy red rash - not unexpectedly since I’m allergic to some metals such as nickel.

I’m planning to restring the necklace to have beads go all the way around.

If you have one of the Golden Gingko necklaces, please share you experience/opinion regarding that wire.

And I welcome all comments. Thanks for looking.

Thank you, Daisy1000, for taking the time to leave a comment and a love!
I did add some matching turquoise beads to cover the exposed wire. With the photos I have of it before my alteration, it can be put back in original condition should anyone in the future choose to do so. For wearing comfort, I think they will like it my way though. :^)

Tne "Turquoise Color" beads may be the stone Howlite, a white veiny stone often dyed . I love ginko trees btw :)
