Another find from Sunday's antiques fair, this Victorian vase is a most welcome addition to my collection.
Satin glass is a particular favourite of mine, & this piece has a number of features that set it apart.
The vase is made from three layers of cased glass - clear over pink, with a white interior. It has an air trap moire pattern, & an applied chain rigaree in clear glass. It measures around 14 cm tall, 8 cm across the four - way crimped top rim, & 8 cm across the base, which has a rough, snapped pontil mark.
Could be either Bohemian or English.
Looks great amongst those Daffs !
Many thanks, Bambus1920!
