Picked up about 10 years ago with intention to repair but never got around to it. I would like to find some info about it. When you open the back of the watch there are the letters WJ , the number 19080 and what I think is a hallmark that I can't make out. It kind of looks like winged dragon. The scene on the dial is palm trees and a village. The watch is 1 7/8" wide.
If anyone has any info on this watch it would be appreciated.

I'm not a European pocket watch collector although I do have a few.
The movement appears to be a Swiss Keywind Bar Movement.
It is very similar to the T. F. Cooper Keywind Bar Movement, circa 1850-1890, but not exact and the inside dust cover would usually be marked with the Cooper name, so I don't think it is a Cooper.
Focused close-up photos might reveal something someone will recognize.

Thank you pw-collector for your response. I put the watch away in it's box last night and removed the tissue from the bottom and found the dust cover. The dust covers hinge and a bent pin. The back of The cover had the same numbe
r as the case. The watch was made by M J Tobias. What I thought was a English hallmark was a Scottish purity mark denoting 18 kt.
