Foilglass graduated beads necklace, most likely czech. The necklace is about 56 cm long and the beads are strung on a blue cord with knots inbetween the beads. Clasp marked Sterling. Unfortunately there are som chips in a few beads so I might alter it. I have seen similar necklaces on internet said to be art deco. These might be too, I don't know. If not antique I'm pretty sure they are old vintage.

Thanks Ms Chrystalchip! I think blue and green like this goes well together. The colors and the shimmering effect from the foil It makes me think of birdfeathers like peacock, morpho butterflyes or scarabs. Interesting information you are giving me, D&E is that an american company? I will have to look into that.

Oh now I know what you mean by D&E Ms.ChrystalShip :) Delizza and Esters, right? I don't think it is though, I think my necklace is czech and might be older than it looks. When I look closely at the knots, the cord and the overall look I think this might be from as early as the 30's. But I don't know for sure ofcourse :)
