This slim 11" tall gazelle was originally designed in the late 1940s by Royal Hickman of Heisey Glass, then reissued for the HCA (Heisey Collectors of America) by Fenton in the early 90s in their special rosalene color, a two tone marbled cotton candy pink shade, with no two animals colored the same
Neat piece. The cotton candy color shading is really cool!
Wait....it's a gazelle?! In the thumbnail I seen a flamingo and of course the pink made me think flamingo too! I've never seen such a shade of pink before and I find it interesting that every animal made was a different colour which is really cool, it makes each piece definitely unique!
Such beautiful colors Jenni!!
Thank you so much for the love

Thanks for the great compliment MrsT, I agree the gradient pink color is quite nice & the rosalene was only around for a couple yrs, so was very glad to add this piece to my "zoo"
Lauren you are right, it sort of has the flamingo look & body, and definitely the color! It is supposed to be like an art deco gazelle, I really wanted to find this to add in to my stuff, esp as it's a different animal for me not the same old, same old. Really glad you liked it & thanks you lots for the super comment
Thanks so much Scott for your wonderful compliment, the two tone pink is really cool
Eileen I'm so thrilled you love this and thank you for the wonderful compliments. Yes Fenton did some beautiful animal figures, I have a book of the different glass makers & I think Fenton made a bigger variety of animals than anyone else. Look forward to seeing your kidded vase I'm sure it is beautiful
Thanks so much for the love
