I'm really chuffed to have found this. The condition is near mint and must admit it was a real lucky find. Whilst it doesn't say 'Melamine' on the base, it has a distinct feel of that material. The manufacturer's mark says, " Tel. Holbrook 679, Italy" which is a real puzzler.
A great ashtray made to promote one of the worst beers I have ever had the misfortune to try. It was horrible stuff.

It *is* a fun ashtray, Simonc! Gotta point out (as one that doesn't actually drink beer at all) that I'd doubt many here that do call themselves beer experts would actually claim Colt45 as such... <lol> ...the stuff has long been known as rotgut awful over here too, mostly because of its cheapest price/larger quantity per container/higher alcohol content (not necessarily in that order?) than most any other 'beer' to be found at the scary liquor store in the 'hood. <sigh> Actually, I think that term "malt liquor" is a legal distinction (loophole?) here, that allows it to be mostly sold as beer despite its high alcohol content which would otherwise be above the permitted amount for any other beers/beer-like-products (wine coolers, ciders, etc) thus making it subject to a whole different set of "legal sale regulations". <sigh>
