Saved from a landfill destination.
I have stripped off a lot of wax and varnish to find anything that needs repair.
Last pic is fresh wipe down to check the stripping progress.
I am looking for an approximate age and possibly maker.
Beautiful mahogany chair rescue....it’s such a shame people throw away the good stuff just to replace it with what? Modern cheap junk.
The plan is to finish the repairs and then release it back into the wild.
And then do this again, one piece at a time
