Such a neat looking walk Hanging bought at a yard sale about a year ago. I can’t make out signature was told by owner they bought it in the 1970’s In Connecticut. If anyone knows what this is I would love to know. What is the meaning of faces and trees ?? The signature looks like AK Littlefoot 79 Copyright Star ! To me that’s what I see. Is this Native American Pottery??

Very interesting piece, the sculpted lower half of faces look male, perhaps the message is sensory, man being in tune with nature

There’s a “new” burial practice called “green burial which is really just the “old” way coming around again.
Unembalmed bodies buried shallowly only in a cloth shroud, a tree planted to mark the spot and everything left for the microbes and creatures of the soil to return the body to Nature.
The faces below the level of the tree trunks as if just below the surface of the ground and trees growing from each face.....looks like a green burial to me.
I think it’s definitely along those lines I had something similar with the sculpted faces and trees years ago and wanted to compare them but I’m not sure where I put It. I have Been looking and have not come up with anything yet if I do I will post it. Thanks for your replies
