My aunt found this lamp with zero leads on who, what, where or when. Hoping someone here would have some insight?

The "busiestb" lamp (34" Brass Lamp Would Love More Info) is a Stiffel lamp most likely built in their Chicago plant. I have one just like it but, in a avacado sort of green. Believe the date is 1946 to 1956 approximately. Bought mine for $15 and found them online up to $400-$500.
To the last comment, it's called a "torchiere" and typically mounts a 2-1/4" old style lipped globe open at the top (bevel shape most common) by a single screw. LONG bulbs fit best.
here's a pair at ETSY; you could probably find a replacement shade:

several sightings also mention STIFFEL
