It seems the "simple" things are the hardest to identify. We've always just referred to this as "depression" glass but the seams are really smooth so I'm leaning toward "elegant" glass. About all I know is my great grandmother bought it new before or just after my mother was born. I would really love to find out the manufacturer but I've not been able to match it up with anything so far.
