Can you please tell me where you got this from? My great grandma had 2 but pink with gold. One in the same pose and the other different pose. Sadly one broke but my grandma still has the other one. And hers does not have anything either that says who made them or where they originally are from.

In my experience, most of this style figurine has a California origin. They have their origins in the late 1940s but were most popular in the early to mid 1950s due to the popularity of "The King and I" musical. Similar figures were made by several enterprises - usually marketed as "Siamese". Most prolific was Yona Ceramics but Yona figures are usually marked and usually have solid bottoms. Other possibilities are California Originals, Treasure Craft, West Coast Potteries, Brad Keeler - and probably a few more. Not all companies marked everything but there may be a mark beneath the felt.

Thank you. We don't have felt on ours and there's no mark unless maybe just a number. I'll have to check again when I go to my grandma's. But thank you. I'll have to look into all that you said in your message and yes she definitely got it in California.
