This table has been with me all my life. It was purchased by my parents in the late 60s. It is quite an anomaly for this house and for them. As my parents have passed away, I can't ask them about it. Since their passing, it strikes up lots of conversation from friends and family. Growing up with it, I had become oblivious to it's ostentatiousness. I'd love to know anything about it. It was a clear diversion from their otherwise very traditional furnishings. I still live at my homeplace part-time and relish all the pieces of our story that decorate the house. This table is the only mystery. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
*The pictures do not show that the top is black glass with a center design in gold. The base is gold with an antiqued finish.
