I just can't stop! I finally got my Navajo Pearls!!! I've been wanting these for a very long time and I just measured them again and the smallest one at the top is actually larger than I first thought, it doesn't even fit in through the hole of a 14mm bead. They graduate to a larger size all the way down with beautiful stamping on them! And there is a tab at the top signed RV. I haven't had time to look that up yet but will do soon.

I got the pearls w the two turquoise rings in the hand dish that are now my favorite two (every time I get new rings, they become my favs) and I am going to guess that the ring w the feathers is #8 mine, a mine that has been closed for approx. 40 years, and the other ring may be from the Kingman Mine or it's Royston Turquoise.

The other two necklaces are from the late 60's early 70's. The all silver stamped cuff is signed by Douglas Etsitty, I just found out he passed in May of last year. Born 1968. The other cuff has nice stamp work and I'm not sure if the concho like pieces, there are 5 of them that go all the way around, holding turquoise are called overlay or not yet, they aren't really shadow box I don't think. Not positive.

Then there is Larimar. I saw someone mention they did not know what Larimar is, so... here is a ring and a rough but polished stone of Larimar. The following description found on Wikipedia:Larimar, also called "Stefilia's Stone", is a rare blue variety of the silicate mineral pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean. Its coloration varies from white, light-blue, green-blue to deep blue. It's amazingly gorgeous in person and is pretty costly. So glad many people don't know about it, that's the only way I was able to afford it!

And last but not least, Lime Green or Bright Green Apple Turquoise! I also just found out that it may be from the Carico Lake Mine (like I was hoping even tho I said I've given up trying to figure it out, I can't help it) but, that mine was reopened specifically for the bright green turquoise, yet because it was so costly to mine there, it has been closed again. This color is highly desired by many collectors.

Are we done yet? Neva!!! haha
Thanks for looking, loving and reading such a long post!
    xoxo

Wow, silver pearls! These would feel great warming up on your body, and stylish too (of course, you own them!).
I love green, so the Carico Lake Mine ring is my to die for. I'm like you, the newest thing is my favourite, but the search for my next favourite never stops. Never!!

I know right Karen!!! I think I'm starting to feel a bit guilty... Ahhhaahahah neva to that too! Come on, I am killin it on the prices and even I've noticed how different and so much better the mdse has gotten over the years for me. I suppose the pieces have always been out there but my focus has changed. I see a piece and almost get whiplash now! The lime green is actually a brooch or a pendant but I am in full agreement, it would be so awesome as a ring and I was so thrilled to find out that is was actually Carico Lake! I'm going to ask a gal I know that's from your neck of the woods if she minds if I post something here of her collection. She always makes me feel so much better, she's a Mr T of the turquoise world tho.

Thanks so much for stopping in and commenting. Wish I would have been able to chat with you. We'll catch up soon! xoxo

Thanks Mary, you are always such a sweet thing! I'm very tempted to have the brooch/pendant made into a ring! We'll see.
