Old clock, no maker name. It does have a date 1861 but I have no clue who the maker is. Does anyone know or recognize the craftsmanship? Or where a make name might be?

Hello Trisha,
You have a New Haven "Liffey" walnut wood case mantel clock from circa 1881.
Here's another example: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/haven-liffey-kitchen-mantel-clock-306530795. There are several other examples online which you can find through a Search Engine.
New Haven usually printed their name on the dial so if your dial doesn't have "New Haven" on it, the original dial may have been replaced at some point in your clock's history.
"New Haven" will probably be stamped into one or both of the movement plates. You'd have to remove the hands and the dial to see the movement.
Here's some information on the New Haven Clock Company: https://www.collectorsweekly.com/clocks/new-haven
Nice antique clock. Thanks for sharing it.
Regards,
Bruce
Thank you so very much!!!
