I need some serious help identifying this item. I primarily deal with vintage jewelry. This piece was in a large estate purchase that’s I made. I am not at all familiar with the design or intended use.
It is a spring clamp of sorts. With flower detail covering both ends of the spring, as well as a floral rhinestone detail on one of the arms. My best guess thus far is that’s it is perhaps a hair accessory, maybe for securing a ponytail or braid. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m scratching my head with this one...
It’s a glove clip but missing it’s short chains which would hold the clip to a lady’s purse strap.
I have several of these.
Neat, never heard of a Glove Clip ....Interesting
Krisshane and Antiquerose, I’m going to post some pictures and info in glove clips that I have.Hope you check it out and enjoy. :-)
Actually they are called “glove rings” by the manufacturer.....so I correct myself for calling them clips, even though they are more of a clip than a ring.
Thank you so much for the info! I learn something new every day.
Did you see the post I did on Vintage Glove Rings? There’s lots of info there - even the patent info.
