I have a ring I posted a few years ago but I still need help with the mark. Has anyone seen this F with a star mark before?
It has been suggested to me that the 835 indicates it is German and that the style of the ring is around the 40's or 50's.
Anyone who has any information on the mark? Thanks!
Might have found the answer myself ha ha :) :

So maybe that is the answer?
But here the mark looks a bit different:

I am writing to myself now :) :)
Here is a discussion on the Frey & company.

Any inputs are welcome :)!
Hi Elisabeth,
All your info about 835F silver is correct, it is a typical European continental (often German) mark of the 835/1000 part of the silver, the star must be the maker mark
Thankyou newfld! I just wich I knew who made it. This a ring often use because I love it.
Still hopeing someone will know who made this.
