    I've had this for a around 15 years. Paid $300 or so at an estate auction in Jacksonville. It's a Henry Boker M1860. As far as I understand, Boker was the only imported M1860 during the Civil War. The leather washer has been replaced by me because it was missing. But apart from that it's an unmolested original.

      Nice M1860.

      There were several German sword makers that sold M1860s to the US market during the Civil War.

      Some of the German makers: Clemen and Jung (C&J) and Clauberg.

      Additionally, early in the war some US makers imported swords and added their markings.
