I collect various antique and vintage glass and have amassed nearly 500 pieces. EAPG has always been one of my favorites to own. I need help with this one....4 in tall....has a bullseye like pattern with the "bullseye" being a smooth round ball...as opposed to maybe a Hobstar. It is surrounded with a swirl and then surrounded with a zig-zag or "zippered" pattern. The handle has a thumb rest and the same "zippered" design running along the sides. Multi-rayed base, 4 part mold. Would appreciate any ideas on the maker...etc. Thanks.

Thank you Tallcakes.....would there be any way to determine if this one in particular is U.S. Glass or Federal?

All the time I spend on the EAPG Society's Website and have never noticed this pattern there till just now lol. So as to my previous question...I see there is a lot of mystery as to whether U.S. Glass sold the molds to Federal or just "dumped" them....etc. It's known that only a few items appear in the U.S. Glass catalog...wonder if the creamer is one of them?

Did Federal Glass also call the pattern "Caledonia"?

'Caledonia' was the OMN; hard to say what name Federal used without seeing tjhier catalogs. Here's what on resource says: "Introduced by US Glass c1906, by 1907 only a few items of No. 15094 appear in the US Glass catalog. Then the pattern starts to appears in 1907 Federal Glass assortments in various wholesaler catalogs. On top of that, a full line of this pattern appears in a c1914 Federal also designated as No. 15094. So what was going on? The Beattys were serial pattern copiers beginning at Beatty-Brady and continuing the practice when they founded Federal. Did they just hijack the pattern? Or did US Glass decide that this line was not successful and dump the moulds to Federal who were selling to the low end of the market? Lots of questions, no answers."
