Real pretty pressed glass. Geo-metric pattern with a Rosetta or flower in the center. About 6 in tall. 4 part mold. Does not react much to UV light. I think it may be an Imperial Nucut piece. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks CW.

Thanks TallCakes.....you are soooo correct. I am truly a novice at trying to properly photograph glass. Any basic tips?
I searched Indian Sunset....doesn't appear to be the same pattern. I will do my best to take a better photo of it this evening and post it.
After further research I think this may be Higbee's "Madora" pattern. Any thoughts?

just revisited that one... and your may be a match as well...
tho' there may be some similarities to Madora, after further investigation, pretty sure this the "Laurel" pattern by J. B. Higbee c1908, and continued by Paden City Glass c1918.
You are correct Tallcakes...."Laurel" appears to be a more exacting match. Without a mark is there a way to differentiate whether it is Higbee or Paden city?
And thank you Tallcakes once again for your understanding with my photos. I have been given ideas from other CW members on ways to improve that. (thanks fortapache!).
sorry but I can't think of anything to help with an out of focus blurry image. I use an autofocus SLR for my glass and my camera phone for family snapshots as it's convenient. If your using the viewfinder on a camera you might check the diopter adjustment to make sure that you can focus manually...
I think there is no way to tell the difference in the maker as not all pieces were marked by Higbee and I don't know if Paden City may have removed the logo from the molds...
Sharky - you have also been told to stop posting pictures that were taken in January 2019, which you have misrepresented - posting that you obtained, what was in the photo, no more than three days ago.
Gillian...you may have me mistaken with another. I just joined this site and begin posting photos about a month ago. Maybe a month and a half. My current camera may default the time stamp to the beginning of the year...not sure. I have not intentionally misrepresented anything that I have posted.
I was unaware this site even existed in Jan. I have made posts last week concerning items I had just found and the items were truly just obtained a few days prior to posting. If the time stamp on those posts reflects Jan. 2019...then that is a simple oversight on my part.
