Would appreciate views regarding this smallish (4" tall) vase. Although my knowlege of glass is limited I believe this is cranberry - this based on the yellowish tint? I was attracted by the color and the minimalist form but am at a loss as to the likely maker....and that may be difficult if not impossible to determine. The one feature that does not really show in the photos, it has a fairly large, convex, polished pontil. Welcome views. Thanks

I have one very similar to yours. I bought it years ago at the Smith & Hawken store that was located here in Austin. Smith & Hawken brick and mortar stores are no longer around. I think Target still carries Smith & Hawken merchandise. Your piece is mostly likely used for forcing bulbs. Specifically, an amaryllis bulb. You can do a wikipedia search to learn more about Smith & Hawken, but this piece could have been made by a number of glass makers, but my piece was purchased at Smith & Hawken. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. I fondly recall (and miss) Smith and Hawkin. Although I didn't specifically ask, I'm wondering if this is indeed "cranberry glass"? Did your vase also have the "gold" tint? Thanks
