Purple cut-to-clear vase? acid-etched?

I know the pics are terrible....sorry guys ;) This vase is about 5 in tall....purple cut-to-clear, but I pretty sure the main pattern is acid-etched. The scallops or facets that circle the base appear to be hand cut then polished. Rather heavy at the base but the body of the vase is very thin. I'm not very knowledgeable on most non American glass like Bohemian and such. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks CW.
