My grandmother has been gone for about 30 years and just recently my mom decided she needs to eliminate some of the "stuff" that's accumulated over the years. I had no idea that a lot of grandma's jewelry was still around. When I got to Mom's house and went into the storage room and started pulling this all out I was kinda shocked. Now, what I am I gonna do with all this?
My wife has to go through all of it to decide which ones she's keeping. Not for sale at this time.
Yeah, that's mostly Park Lane, a few Sarah Coventry, and a couple I haven't identified as of yet. I'll try to get those posted up soon. Maybe someone here will recognize them.
I knew Broochman would flip over this! So will just about everyone else. You've come to the right place and I have to say, this is such an excellent collection. looks like they've been well documented but I have to tell you, it also looks like you may have some Sherman pieces there that are not signed, that's all good, but I hope you have priced them right. Sherman sells for high dollar my friend. I suggest you do some research before you sell. You could be making some costly errors if you don't. I see some I'd like to definitely have!!!
Thanks for the heads up shareurpassion, I'll definitely post the pieces I haven't been able to identify before doing anything with them.
I also see some that could be silver 925, examine carefully for marks. This is what us jewelry collectors like to do. Plunge in and sort. Thanks for posting.
There were a couple mid century sterling pins and a sterling Park Lane ring. They're not in the pics.
You are so welcome! Truthordare is exactly right, especially when the seller is unknowing! I can say, I've been there, done that myself. I can tell you, I have learned so much by just being here, and gained some friendships that are worth everything as well!
