Tetley Special Pale Ale UK ceramic ashtray.

An absolutely huge ashtray promoting Tetley's special Pale Ale. I think I was my own worst enemy for cleaning it up so well as it became difficult to catch its colour properly, given my poor photographic skills. The overall brown tone is very rich and is offset by the revised Tetley branding in a creamy off-white while the pale ale is printed in a kind of orangey-ish hue. My overly-vivid description of the colours make it sound horrible I know, but honestly, it works really, really well in the flesh, as it were. I apologise for my shoddy skills behind the shutter because not only does it grab you by its size, that colour scheme just adds to its overall eye catching effect
It's a UK ceramic ashtray made by Henry W King and Co Ltd. I will do some research on the company as I have one more made by them. A really lovely ashtray and I'm exceptionally proud to have it in my collection.
