Ladies and gentlemen, may I present 'The Beast'... Just look at the size of this thing, it's absolutely huge and extremely heavy. It's in beautiful golden brown hue with the Whitbread branding in gold. Very, very striking and a real looker. The maker's mark is frankly baffling, obviously an 'Illuminati' thing going on there, is it 'SDS' or 'DSS' or 'SSD'? Very mysterious.
What I do like is the fact it just promotes Whitbread the brand rather than one of its beers, which makes it pretty striking and rather a bold statement piece.
I really like and although it takes up a hell of lot of real estate in the cabinet, it's a fantastic ashtray to have in my collection.
I really hope you like it as much as I do.

I worked as a rep for Whitbread 30 years ago and still have a few of my pos and merchandising stuff, I will have to dig it out and post. Neil

Hi Neil, I wonder what long forgotten treasures are laying in your loft?
