The new phones make great cameras. I quit using my cameras when I got a new phone.

THANK YOU Fortapache....I have collected glass for over 30 years and I'm just starting to photograph and catalog it all.I will start using my phone instead of the camera I have been using. You are trying to assist a novice photographer and I appreciate that.

Others have spoke of purchase dates that I post in my comments....time stamps...out of focus...etc. lol...it was even suggested that I "move on"....(mot sure what that meant). But thank you again for your advice and understanding.

You know what a date stamp is, it's the date and time recorded on bottom right hand corner of your pictures. January 2019.

"Just starting to photograph it etc. etc."

      A very large fib!

Yes I am aware of what a time stamp is.....I am also aware that some devices default a time stamp to the beginning of a year. I was not a part of this site in Jan. nor was I taking any photos at that time. I will rectify the time stamp situation so there should be no problems in the future.

Trying to wrap my mind around what I would have to gain by lying about when I obtain a piece.

I'm looking at my camera now....the time/date have been set wrong the entire time. I have corrected it...shouldn't be a problem anymore.
